In The Bad Apple some apples are very disgruntled at having to share their bowl with a horrible orange object who feels ugly and unhappy, until it is taken out and transformed into a Christingle. The apples have had to learn a lesson and then together they watch the children perform their nativity. The Red Ribbon is the story of a poor girl, who owns nothing but a piece of red ribbon and is taken in by a minister who tells her about Jesus and lets her watch a nativity play. When Rev John cannot find ribbon to complete his Christingle she gives her ribbon as a token of her new found love of Jesus.
